In this workshop, you will learn how to present yourself with confidence and credibility even in challenging situations. You will receive practical tips for dealing with media, social media, and critical questions so that you can Communicate your messages clearly and reliably.

In today’s digitally connected world, a scientific crisis can arise quickly - whether due to flawed data, ethical controversies, or misinterpreted study results. In this workshop, you will learn how to:

  • Recognize typical crisis scenarios in science and research (e.g., erroneous data, ethical controversies, misinterpreted study results).
  • Develop strategies to remain calm and build trust in critical moments.
  • Prepare proactively for potential crises through clear processes and action plans.
  • Apply communication strategies that ensure transparency, credibility, and responsibility.
  • Manage real-time communication: handling online backlash, and crafting statements for media and social media.
  • Avoid common mistakes: do’s and don’ts in crisis communication.
  • Create individualized action guides for consistent and confident internal and external communication.
Practical exercises:Role-playing, interview training, and digital crisis simulations.
Goal:: Communicate confidently, consistently, and securely in high-pressure situations, both internally and externally.
