Im M\u00e4rz 2024 senkte die Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Ern\u00e4hrung (DGE) die empfohlene Eierverzehrmenge aus \u00f6kologischen Gr\u00fcnden, nicht aufgrund neuer medizinischer Erkenntnisse. In Gesundheitsportalen, Patientenmedien und Krankenkassenpublikationen wurde die Empfehlung dennoch umgehend als kardiovaskul\u00e4re Warnung transportiert.<\/p>\n<p>Die aktuelle Forschungslage widerspricht dieser Wahrnehmung klar. Der PROSPERITY Trial, eine der bisher umfangreichsten klinischen Studien zum Thema Ei und Herzgesundheit, pr\u00e4sentiert beim American College of Cardiology 2024, untersuchte den Verzehr von bis zu zw\u00f6lf Eiern pro Woche und fand keine signifikanten negativen Auswirkungen auf das Lipidprofil. Eine 2025 im Fachjournal PubMed publizierte Studie zeigt zudem: Nicht Nahrungscholesterin aus Eiern erh\u00f6ht den LDL-Spiegel, sondern ges\u00e4ttigte Fetts\u00e4uren.
